Fertility treatment in Canary Wharf: Egg freezing, IVF and more
Whether you are looking to preserve your fertility in order to start a family later in life, or you want to undergo in vitro fertilisation (IVF), we can help you on your journey to becoming a parent.
With many decades of experience in fertility treatment, our team will be with you every step of the way to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable, and confident in the decisions you make regarding your fertility.

Egg freezing (preservation)
Many women are choosing to have their first child later in life, whether that’s due to commitments such as work or studying, not having found the right partner, or any other reason. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) recently released data which revealed that the average age of a first-time mother in the UK is now 31, and that more women than ever are having children over the age of 40.
However, it is important to be aware that risks of chromosomal abnormalities and infertility increase with age due to declining egg quality and quantity. While lots of women can conceive naturally later in life, resulting in a successful pregnancy and healthy baby, egg freezing provides reassurance that you will be less likely to encounter problems if you choose to delay your pregnancy.
With recent advances in egg freezing technology, we have seen improved success rates across the fertility sector, resulting in a rise in women choosing to preserve their fertility. If you would like further advice and information on egg freezing, please do not hesitate to book a consultation at our Canary Wharf clinic.
IVF
IVF is a popular treatment for single women or couples, with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) reporting that 52,500 patients had IVF treatment at licensed fertility centres in the UK in 2022. It allows those with fertility issues – such as fallopian tube blockages, ovulation problems and uterine fibroids – to improve their chances of a successful pregnancy.
This treatment involves the surgical removal of an egg from the ovary, which is then fertilised in our lab with sperm from a partner or a donor. The fertilised egg is then placed into the womb to grow and develop.
At The Fertility & Gynaecology Academy, we are proud of our IVF success rates, especially considering that we specialise in treating complex cases of recurrent IVF failure (IVF treatment that has been repeatedly unsuccessful at other clinics). This is one of the many qualities that sets us apart from other fertility clinics in London and beyond.
