Endometrial thickness and fertility
The endometrium (womb lining) is the inner layer of the uterus which changes at different stages of your menstrual cycle.
Measurement of the endometrium is important because this is where the fertilised egg is implanted. A minimum thickness of 6mm is necessary for a successful pregnancy.
